Jackass Quote(s) Of The Week (tie)

First there's this asshole's people......

"It is shocking that the U.S. Supreme Court did not accept the appeal of District of Columbia citizens who were deprived of their right to vote on the definition of marriage. The Court's decision effectively upheld the finding of the Washington Human Rights Commission that it would be discriminatory to even give citizens a choice to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The consequences of changing the definition of marriage have broad ramifications for how the value of marriage to children and society is perceived and will affect decisions people make about marriage in their own lives. Already, 41% of children born today are deprived of a mother and father who have first chosen to make themselves irreplaceable to each through marriage. This is a human tragedy and a violation of the rights of the child." - Catholics For The Common Good

Yes, those kids born without a mother AND father are doomed. No child of a single parent has EVER amounted to anything....

Next up we have this giant asshole...

“But if you have been adopted in God’s family like I have, and like you have, if you’re a Christian and if you’re saved, and the Holy Spirit lives within you just like the Holy Spirit lives within me, then you know what that makes? It makes you and me brothers. And it makes you and me brother and sister. Now I will have to say that, if we don’t have the same daddy, we’re not brothers and sisters. So anybody here today who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, I’m telling you, you’re not my brother and you’re not my sister, and I want to be your brother.” - Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley

Wow. Good luck with that Alabama.

Vatican warned Irish bishops not to report abuse

DUBLIN (AP) — A 1997 letter from the Vatican warned Ireland's Catholic bishops not to report all suspected child-abuse cases to police — a disclosure that victims' groups described as "the smoking gun" needed to show that the church enforced a worldwide culture of covering up crimes by pedophile priests.

The newly revealed letter, obtained by Irish broadcasters RTE and provided to The Associated Press, documents the Vatican's rejection of a 1996 Irish church initiative to begin helping police identify pedophile priests following Ireland's first wave of publicly disclosed lawsuits.

Jackass Quote Of The Week

"Still smug that it can retain the White House in 2012, even after President Obama has alienated most of the nation with his socialist, anti-white and anti-Judeo-Christian policies, the left has set out to destroy the one truly principled politician who can unite conservatives, libertarians, independents, tea partiers, people of faith and any American who truly believes in constrained government, fiscal and individual responsibility, a strong national defense, life, and yes, freedom under God! Her name is Michele Bachmann, and she is a congresswoman from Minnesota." - Larry Klayman

Wow.

Stay Classy Tea Party

The lovely folks at Tea Part Express (founded and formerly run by the overtly racist Mark Williams) is scrambling to use the tragic Arizona shootings to collect ca$h.

I know we shouldn't be surprised....especially coming from such a disgusting organization, but the depths to which these folks sink is truly something to behold.

From Huffpo...

The Tea Party Express, one of the movement's largest national groups, blasted out an email plea Monday afternoon asking their supporters to send money to defend them from liberals who are allegedly "assigning blame" to them and Sarah Palin for the shootings in Arizona over the weekend.

"It is quite clear that liberals are trying to exploit this shooting for their own political benefit, and they used deception and dishonesty to try and smear all of us and our beliefs," the email read, according to Talking Points Memo. "Well guess what: to those liberals in the news media and on the political Left who think you can silence us, you are wrong! Your efforts to try and smear us and shut us up will fail."
