"If people can't even feed and clothe themselves should they be allowed to vote? Should they be voting? If people who are receiving government assistance, that is taxpayer assistance, if they weren't allowed to vote can you imagine the political difference in this country? Can you imagine? It's just a think piece, putting it out there for you to ponder?" - Rush Limbaugh

NOW who's firing the first shot in class warfare?
one of THE most loathsome creatures on this planet
Good point Kirk.
@Kirk, what do you mean "first shot"?? The rich have been waging this class war for centuries and doing quite well at it. Just not as well as they would like, they haven't gotten it all, the peons still own a little and they want that too!!!
Yes. Yes, actually, I think I can VERY easily imagine how different the USA would look if a major part of their population was excluded from voting because of their bank account. Like a dictatorial oligarchy of wealthy white men. Even more than it already does.
@Kulkuri--You're right, they have, but the rich, or those who do the rich's bidding, have somehow covinced a good deal of the population that they're actually populists, and the people who want to help the poor are the elites. Limbaugh's comment should put that notion to rest.
