Roy Clark - Thank God And Greyhound

A mellow opening leads into a hilariously awesome bridge and chorus.....stick with it.

Roy is a badass.

A fave! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I've always like how it starts off as a tear-jerker and then in the middle kicks it up into a happy song.

I saw him as part of a Bob Hope charity show in the late seventies. Wasn't expecting much but he stole the whole show from an all-star cast of celebs! An amazing musician.

People like to scoff at Hee Haw....and it was hamhanded and corny...but it was also a huge hit. Roy was no small part of that. A really great host with tons of personality and talent.

as a general rule i cant stand country music but i will listen to Roy anytime man! i'll never forget his awesome guest apearance on the odd couple, blew me away as a kid and still does! and not that i needed much coaxing to watch the Hee Haw gals but having Roy on there was a big motivation to watch as well :)
