New York (CNN) -- Hundreds of people might have been exposed to hepatitis A while receiving communion on Christmas Day, Long Island officials said Monday.
The Nassau County Department of Health is offering vaccines to those who attended two services at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Massapequa Park in Long Island, New York, according to Nassau County Department of Health spokeswoman Mary Ellen Laurain.

The Republican National Committee is going to vote on a possible new chairman on January 14th. Not surprisingly, every single candidate is absolutely in favor of stripping away women’s right to a safe, legal abortion. They also completely agree to continue to fight against any and all equal rights for gay people.

Back From Break
Had a week or two off from just about everything. Enjoyed long stretches of not leaving the house, and not doing a whole bunch of anything. Really. Was pretty much 'unplugged' from the Internet as well. A breather was taken.
Alas, the new year is here. Time to return to work, bills, and responsibilities. Hope each and every one of you enjoyed your holidays.
