Huckabee Spouting Bullshit.....No Shock.

"I do believe that God created male and female and intended for marriage to be the relationship of the two opposite sexes, male and female are biologically compatible to have a relationship. We can get into the ick factor, but the fact is two men in a relationship, two women in a relationship, biologically, that doesn't work the same." - Mike Huckabee

Hey Mike.....who gives a flying fuck what you "believe". Some people believe that god wants them to cut into the genitals of young girls. Does that mean we have to elect them to office?

And if "god" was so hot to have only men and women created for marriage to one another, then how come he's so at ease with the tons of polygamy and incest running rampant in the Bible?

You sir, are a jackass. Your religion is vile, hateful, bronze-age garbage. Fuck off.

Touchdown Jesus

I've posted pictures of this infamous "touchdown Jesus" statue from here in Ohio before...

A 62-foot high statue of JC letting us know the kick is up, the kick is good...

Well, looks like there was a instant replay look at those plays on the field.....LIGHTNING STRUCK THE STATUE last night and burned it to the ground.

Lightning my ass.

Proof positive has now been delivered to us of our future alien overlords.

Hail Xenu.

Yuma Mayor Denigrates Gay Troops

Ignorant Wingnut Cliche'

"Just 50 years ago, in the 1950s, America was a great place, it was safe. It was decent. Children got good educations in the public schools. Even blue-collar fathers brought home middle-class incomes, so moms could stay home with the kids. Television shows reflected sound, traditional values". - author William Lind

There is so much stupid in that quote, it literally hurts. Gee, wonder why every wingnut on television and radio always talks about how "wonderful" the 1950's were. I'm sure it's a coincidence that they are all white men.

(CNN) -- Scientists now estimate the leaking BP oil well in the Gulf of Mexico was releasing 20,000 to 40,000 barrels -- or 840,000 to 1.7 million gallons -- per day through last week, the head of the U.S. Geological Survey said Thursday.

The scientists' previous estimate was 12,000 to 19,000 barrels per day

Jackass Quote of the Week

From Joe My God....

"It seemed a real danger that the boy being raised by the same-sex couple would bring to school something obscene or pornographic, or refer to such things in conversation, as they go along with the same-sex lifestyle, which--as not being related to procreation-- is inherently eroticized and pornographic. He might expose other children to such things, as he might easily have encountered them in his household." - The Archdiocese of Boston's Pilot newspaper columnist Michael Pakaluk, explaining why he objected to the six year-old son of a gay couple being in the same class with his boy.

Damn. I was seriously rooting for her.......a win would have been really really entertaining.

Not just a myth, but the saying "there are no atheists in foxholes" is actually small minded bigotry.

I ask you....why is ANYONE still attending Catholic Mass? Why isn't there a mass exodus from this twisted brand of Christianity? What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Here's Mojoey at Deep Thoughts with yet another one of "those stories"....

As we’ve learned lately, the Catholic church is not trustworthy. Case in point, the Catholic church treated a Danish priest convicted of downloading 38 movies involving sexual activities with minors as if it were a speeding ticket. They told nobody of his conviction and put him back to work with kids. There is not an acceptable excuse for this type of behavior.

What does it take to get a priest defrocked? We know it’s not child porn, nor is it child molestation, heck, repeated child rape is not enough to get you defrocked. I’m willing to bet that if a priest violated the Catholic church’s policy banning condom use, he would be out on his ass. Where are their priorities?

GOP.....Always Stayin' Classy. Always.

A Jackass quote to be sure......

SC senator: We’ve ‘got one raghead in the White House, we don’t need a raghead in the governor’s mansion.’

Today, the Christian Broadcasting Network published a story about Nikki Haley, the frontrunner to become South Carolina’s GOP gubernatorial nominee, saying that she “recently changed the language on her website to reflect a more Christian tone.” The story said that although Haley has “gone out of her way to make sure people know she is a Christian,” she was raised in the Sikh faith and placed more emphasis on that tradition when she ran for the state legislature in 2004. This evening in an interview with Pub Politics, state Sen. Jake Knotts (R-SC) — who is supporting a different candidate — slammed Haley by using a racial slur:

"We already got one raghead in the White House, we don’t need a raghead in the governor’s mansion."

Jackass Quote of the Week

Lest anyone thing that only Rightwing Teabagger Nutballs get to shine in Jackass Quote of the Week......

"And that Word is, we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of the Word. The Word. Isn't it a beautiful word when you think of it? It just covers everything. The Word.....Fill it in with anything you want. But, of course, we know it means: 'The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.' And that's the great mystery of our faith. He will come again. He will come again." - Nancy Pelosi

Thanks for that Nancy. Dolt.

Woman: Church Covered Up My Rape as Teen

Says Deacon Impregnated Her in '97; Church Elders Blamed Her; Alleged Rapist Now Under Arrest; Pastor at Time Denies Cover-up

(CBS) A woman now living in Arizona alleges she was raped twice 13 years ago by a prominent member of her church at the time, the fundamentalist Trinity Baptist Church in Concord, N.H.

Tina Anderson says the rapes resulted in her becoming pregnant when she was only 15.

She also asserts church officials, led by its now former pastor, covered up the crime.
