I've worked in the schools for 36 years (I used to teach, but now run the computer network). Believe me, the students don't look or act like this any more (if they ever did). Schools aren't interested in "both" sides; they tend to be conservative institutions and don't think twice about distorting history or science. The recent revision of Texas textbooks is a classic example.

I used to think homeschooling was to keep kids away from those crazy liberals that attend public schools. Now we'll have to homeschool to keep our kids away from those crazy conservatives.

Is it wrong that I want to kick every male intelligent design proponent in the testicles repeatedly. I mean, I would pay good money to see a couple of people go to town on Ben Stein's private for a couple of hours. But that may just be me (it would certainly be more informative and entertaining than Expelled).

Some people want nothing.
Some people want cheese.
The best you are going to get with compromise is swiss cheese.
Don't ask what's the worse.
