Precisely. Calling it the "Ground Zero Mosque" is misleading and needlessly inflammatory. Although I suspose that's exactly why its opponents call it that.
The sad part is that so much of the media is freely using the term "Ground Zero Mosque" as well. Much like the Sherrod story, they just read right from the tea party playbook. Yet I keep hearing the mainstream media has a liberal bias.
The MSM needs to eat their tails and place the Community Center & Mosque where it belongs: into the hands of those trying to build it. Or they should start drawing maps of the proposed site and letting all Americans know exactly how far from Ground Zero it is okay to renovate a vacant building and create a mosque. Asshats.

What?= If they didn't call it Ground Zero mosque, nobody would give a damn - and the have 24h of "news" program to fill.
Ricky, that's a question I have yet to hear any of the tea asshats answer.
If three blocks away next to a popular downtown titty bar is TOO CLOSE.....then where is far enough? 6 blocks? 10?
It has nothing to do with how close it is to ground zero and everything to do with Christian zealots hatred of other fairy tales.
