This is somewhat (I don't have an actual picture) what the outside of my old place looked like. If nothing else, it certainly captures the spirit of the location....

Ok...so maybe it wasn't THAT ugly.....but I could look out my front window and watch drug deals going down day or night.....and there was a murder two doors up from my front porch a couple years ago. The whole thing was ugly and getting out of hand.

But now...

Here are two actual photos taken from my new front porch....

Nice change.

Do you think you'll miss it? Not the murders or the drugs, but maybe the people? The tree does look nice though. As does "front porch"... I'd like to have a front porch.

No, not really. I had one very nice neighbor that I spoke to every once in a while....but the rest of the "people" I just ignored to the best of my ability.

Justine not included....I didn't know she lived down the street until I was in the process of moving.

Your change of scenery reminds me of how I felt when I moved out of LA and back to CT. Good for you.

Beautiful. If I wasn't a Christian, I'd be jealous.

As a housewarming present, I think I'm going to get you a nice St. Francis statue for the woodland animals to congregate around.

I'm a little worried about you hanging out in the country. You might enjoy the beauty around you so much that you start feeling...grateful....and then you might start feeling...grateful...to...someone...and then it's all over.

I'm grateful every day. Mostly to my parents for being attacted enough to one another to procreate.

No need to get supernatural.

They procreated and made trees? That's amazing! ;)
