Maine Catholics Collect Money at Mass for Discrimination.

Why did the Catholic church never take up special collections to help pay for the victims of rape at the hands of those entrusted to protect? Guess that doesn't pull at their hearts the way some good old fashioned gay-hatin' does. Sickening.

You should get excommunicated. Get your name off of their evil books. It's not that hard to do.

I have a "how to" page bookmarked here somewhere with easy instructions on how to get kicked out.

Maybe I'll post them soon...

How do you know they never took up collections? Last I knew, huge sums of money were taken from diocesan budgets for lawsuits and the victims. It has to be done out of justice to the victims, but the shame of the whole sordid affair horrifies and disgusts faithful Catholics. I think you *might* not know what you are talking about here.

I would wager that they are more passionate about this.

If they would have cooperated with the investigations, not covered it up, and fired those responsible (for the rapes, and the cover ups) I would probably feel differently.

But it's nice to see so many good people coming together and donating money for discrimination. Just lovely.
