Jackass Quote of the Week

Hands down the fucking dumbest thing you will read all week...

"The (New York) Times continues to editorialize about the 'pedophilia crisis,' when all along it's been a homosexual crisis. Eighty percent of the victims of priestly sexual abuse are male and most of them are post-pubescent. While homosexuality does not cause predatory behavior, and most gay priests are not molesters, most of the molesters have been gay. Here's what's really going on. The Times has teamed up with Jeffrey Anderson, a radical lawyer who has made millions suing the Church (and greasing professional victims' groups like SNAP) so they can weaken its moral authority. Why? Because of issues like abortion, gay marriage, and women's ordination. That's what's really driving them mad and that's why they are on the hunt. Those who question this to be true need to ask why the debt-ridden Times does not spend the same resources in looking for dirt in other institutions that occurred a half-century ago. - Bill Donohue (Catholic League)

First he was pointing the finger at Jews ("hey, they molest kids too!"), and now he's painting the Catholic church as the victim.

He seems to be missing a major point here. Sure, molesters come in all varieties.....gay, straight, men, women, priests, teachers, truck drivers....whatever. But when you, as an organization or company, FIND OUT about the child raping that's occurring in your organization....and you not ONLY cover it up, but then send the rapist to another parish and fail to even INFORM that parish what the priest in question was moved for....and then the priest goes on to rape MORE children.....well, that's just fucking evil. Pure fucking evil.

Any and all attempts by the church, or their lapdogs, to scapegoat this issue and play the victim should be met with the disgust it deserves.

its being met with plenty of disgust in this house i can assure you!
the level of hypochracy and denial spewing from the catholic church about all this is astounding even by their own previously high standards in those areas.
but when you think about it, this really is all in keepin with the doctrines set forth by the bible. since we are born sinners, morality is taken out of the sphere of choice i.e. morality doesnt exist, we therefore have no right to judge these people by any standards of morality anyway. we must forgive and have faith for the lord works in mysterious ways....

ironic verification word of the week: twomesse

lol!

i'm sorry lemmy but i agree with him. the entire issue pf some priests being pedophiles and the church not only covering it up but moving those priests around and letting them continue to torture kids, is the fault of women who had abortions
