Monty Python - Bruces Philosophers - American Beer

One of the greatest jokes of all time. Only because it's true.

I object! There are some damn fine American beers. Anchor Steam (San Francisco) Red Hook (Seattle) Terrapin Rye Ale(Athens, GA) etc. It's too bad that when people think of US beer, they think of Bud, Coors, etc.
Oh, I almost forgot Sweetwater Brewing co. here in Atlanta! And Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. And Red Nectar from Cali. . . .

You have a point. The proliferation of microbreweries and the like has lead to some MUCH better beers. I'm guessing at the time this video was taken it was pretty much the corporate piss beers that were brand of the day.

Like the joke about Olympia beer asking an artist to paint a new picture for their label. They gave him a couple of cases of beer and after some time the guy brings in a painting of a couple laying next to a waterfall. They ask him why the couple next to the waterfall and the artist says it reminds him of their beer. They are both fucking near water.
