Fantastic post today at the blog Dwindling in Unbelief entitled "Why Christian Marriage is wrong".
Peferectly times considering the debate going on here.
He lays out a classic "family value" and then desconstructs the idea using, what else, the Bible.
For example...
The Bible says that Christians should not marry. God doesn't want Christians to marry. We shouldn't either.
Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. 1 Corinthians 7:27
For I would that all men were even as I myself.... I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 1 Corinthians 7:7-9
It is a great list. Give it a look see.

Is "seek not a wife" really in the Bible?
I think actually my husband wrote that...
I so have/had no idea I got an award! What in the blue hell did I do right or wrong to deserve this!
I'm going looking for it now!
Will it come out if I offer it a piece of cheese!?
Lemmy...do as Utah says. I would be afraid...very afraid. Never shun an award from her. Just a friendly warning. Wahhhhh, she likes you better than me!!
