Just plain excellent....

Fantastic post today at the blog Dwindling in Unbelief entitled "Why Christian Marriage is wrong".

Peferectly times considering the debate going on here.

He lays out a classic "family value" and then desconstructs the idea using, what else, the Bible.

For example...

The Bible says that Christians should not marry. God doesn't want Christians to marry. We shouldn't either.
Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. 1 Corinthians 7:27
For I would that all men were even as I myself.... I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 1 Corinthians 7:7-9

It is a great list. Give it a look see.

Is "seek not a wife" really in the Bible?

I think actually my husband wrote that...

I'm not reading anything until you pick up your fucking award. It's now three posts down. Or maybe just two. Any it's gathering rust and cobwebs. And If you don't like the rules, break them and if you don't like awards? Well then your full of shit. Who doesn't like awards?

And who's good to you? That's a rhetorical question you fool.

I so have/had no idea I got an award! What in the blue hell did I do right or wrong to deserve this!

I'm going looking for it now!

Will it come out if I offer it a piece of cheese!?
